Composition And Function Of Air Conditioner Controller
The air conditioner controller contains 4 parts, power circuit, three elements of CPU, input part circuit and output part load.
First part: power circuit
The Function of power circuit is to convert AC 220V voltage to DC 12V and stable 5V to supply power to mainboard unit circuit and foreign load.
Second part: three elements of CPU
The three elements of CPU are power supply, clock and reset circuit, and it is an alternative to CPU processing input signals and controlling output circuits.
Third part: input part circuit
1. Data signal: Its main component is memory and the corresponding circuit is a memory circuit. Its role is to provide the CPU with necessary data information at runtime.
2. Emergency switch signal: Its main component is key switch and the corresponding circuit is an emergency switch circuit. Its function is that you can use the air conditioner when there is no remote control.
3. Remote control signal: Its main component is receiver and the corresponding circuit is the receiver circuit. Its role is to process the infrared signal sent by the remote controller and send it to the CPU.
4. Temperature signal: Its main component is ring temperature sensor and tube temperature sensor, and the corresponding circuit is the sensor circuit. Its function is to send the voltage signal representing the change of room temperature and evaporator temperature to the CPU.
5. Zero crossing signal: Its main component is zero-crossing detection transistor, and the corresponding circuit is a zero-crossing detection circuit. Its function is to provide a zero-crossing signal, so that the CPU can control SCR to meet at or near zero, and meet nearby and PG motor can run normally.
6. Hall feedback signal: Its main components hall elements are integrated inside the PG motor, connected to the CPU through the socket, and the corresponding circuit is the Hall feedback circuit. Its function is to provide the actual speed of the PG motor for the CPU.
Fourth part: output part load
1. Indicator: Its main component is indicator light, and the corresponding circuit is the indicator light circuit or display circuit. Its function is to display the current working state of the air conditioner.
2. Buzzer: Its main component is buzzer circuit, and the corresponding circuit is a buzzer circuit. Its function is to prompt the CPU to process the signal sent by the remote control.
3. Stepper motor: Its main component is stepper motor, and the corresponding circuit is a stepper motor drive circuit. Its function is to adjust the angle of the indoor fan air supply, so that the wind can be evenly placed in all corners of the room.
4. Indoor fan, PG motor: Its main component is optocoupler thyristor, and the corresponding circuit is the driving circuit of indoor fan. Its function is to control the indoor fan to run according to CPU requirements.
Pls be noted that PG motor always works once starts in cooling mode, regardless of whether the external machine is running;
In heating mode, it is controlled by the temperature of the evaporator. Only when the temperature of the evaporator is higher than a certain value, the operation will start. If the temperature of the evaporator drops and falls below a certain value during operation, the indoor fan will stop working too.
5. Relay: The corresponding circuit is a relay drive circuit, with an inverting driver as the core. By controlling three relays, the CPU indirectly controls the operation and stop of the compressor, outdoor fan coil, and four-way valve coil.
There are 3 main relays:
A,Compressor relay:
Control the operation and stop of the compressor.
In the cooling mode, the compressor is controlled by 3min continuous circuit protection, evaporator low temperature protection, voltage detection, over current protection and other circuit.
In heating mode, the compressor is protected by 3min continuous circuit protection, evaporator over temperature protection, voltage detection, over current protection and other circuit control.
B, Outdoor fan coil relay:
Control the operation and stop of outdoor fan, and the protected circuit is the same as the compressor.
C, Four-way valve coil relay:
Control the operation and stop of the four-way valve coil.
In cooling mode, no power supply and stop working;
In heating mode, the power supply starts to work. Only the defrosting process is interrupted, and the other process is always powered.
