Composition And Operating Principles Of Fire Automatic Alarm Systems
I. Composition of the Fire Automatic Alarm System
Triggering Devices: Devices that automatically or manually generate fire alarm signals, including temperature-sensitive, smoke-sensitive, light-sensitive, and combustible gas detectors.
Fire Alarm Control Unit: A device capable of receiving, displaying, and transmitting fire alarm signals, as well as issuing control instructions. It includes fire alarm controllers, area controllers, and centralized fire alarm control units.
Fire Alarm Devices: Devices that emit distinct fire alarm signals different from ambient sound or light, including fire alarm bells.
Fire Linkage Control Equipment: Equipment that, upon receiving fire alarm signals from triggering devices, can automatically or manually activate relevant firefighting equipment and display their status.
Power Supply: The main power source should be a dedicated firefighting power source, and the backup power source should use rechargeable batteries. In addition to supplying power to the fire alarm controller, the system power also provides power to firefighting control devices related to the system.
II. Operating Principles of the Fire Automatic Alarm System
The system is capable of converting physical quantities such as smoke, heat, and light radiation generated during the early stages of a fire into electrical signals through fire detectors such as temperature-sensitive, smoke-sensitive, and light-sensitive detectors. These signals are then transmitted to the fire alarm control unit, which simultaneously displays the location of the fire and records the time of the fire occurrence.
Generally, the fire automatic alarm system is linked with automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing systems, indoor hydrant systems, smoke prevention and exhaust systems, ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, fire doors, fire shutters, smoke-blocking vertical walls, and other related equipment. It automatically or manually issues commands to activate corresponding fire prevention and firefighting devices.
