What Issues Should Be Paid Attention To In FPC Circuit Board Production

Due to the particularity of the flexible circuit board, its manufacturing process is different from other circuit boards, so today we will briefly introduce the precautions during the manufacturing process of the flexible circuit board:

1. Since most of the flexible circuit boards are coiled materials, and the double-sided FPC with through holes cannot use the RTR process, then the material needs to be processed in sheet form.

2. In general, the material of the flexible circuit board is very thin and therefore very fragile. Special care must be taken to protect the material when opening the material.

3. If the amount of material is small, manual cutting is required. If the volume is large, an automatic microtome needs to be cut.

4. If it is a good material, you need to use the equipment to automatically stack and tidy, so as to effectively reduce the occurrence of pressure pits, creases, and wrinkles.

5. If it is stacked by hand, then gloves that are not easy to lose fibers need to be used, preferably gloves such as latex to prevent the surface of the material from being contaminated.

6. If the material cut during processing is copper clad laminate, it is necessary to pay attention to the rolling direction of rolled copper.

7. In the pre-manufacturing design or the subsequent processing, the cutting frame cannot be used as the positioning reference for the post-process.
